Barbara Wen
Manager – Website Design & Development | Customer Service
After receiving a B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Barbara began working in the advertising industry, first in videotape production and then as an assistant television producer at NW Ayer, where she worked on ad accounts such as the U.S. Army’s “Be All That You Can Be” campaign, RCA, Nestlé, General Motors and The American Cancer Society. She was introduced to the field of Information Technology (IT) while working as a manager at Anistics, a risk management company.
After raising her children, Barbara returned to work in the medical field as an administrator at a urology office and subsequently at an orthopedic practice. She became intrigued by MedNet’s plans as the company’s services were being considered at her former employer, and she left to join MedNet as its first employee when it was just a start-up business.
Over the past eight years, Barbara established MedNet’s Customer Service Group and the Design & Development Group. She presently manages both departments with a team of twenty graphic designers, content developers and customer service specialists.
